I highly recommend reading this paper that just came out if you want to dig in and understand the implications of the latest state of AI and LLMs titled "Sparks of Artificial General Intelligence: Early experiments with GPT-4 https://arxiv.org/abs/2303.12712 in order to separate out the hype while understanding what is actually happening is amazing and rapidly accelerating.
